Vinification of Quinta Vale D'Aldeia Reserva Red Wine 2019: Grapes are harvested by hand, into 20 kg boxes, at their ideal point of maturation, with the intention that they present a vigorous ripeness leading to greater aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total stemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats, thus allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of very ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine. This wine was aged for 14 months in 400L French oak barrels (2nd year).
