Vinifizierung des Weins Quinta do Cardo Tinto: Die Trauben wurden von Hand in 12-kg-Kisten gelesen und einer strengen Auswahl unterzogen. Nach der vollständigen Entrappung erfolgte die präfermentative Mazeration der ganzen Beeren über 4 Tage. Die alkoholische Gärung fand in Edelstahltanks bei kontrollierter Temperatur von 24-26°C statt. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgte in Edelstahltanks und vor dem Frühling wurden die Weine in französische Eichenfässer (2. und 3. Jahr) transferiert, wo sie 9 Monate reiften.
